When the bridge was almost ready, they found out that their parts differ in height. In Germany they used to set "sea level" by Nothern Sea, while in Switzerland - by Mediterranian Sea. The difference is 27 cm.
Do you think the engineers did not take this into account? Of course they did! That's why the difference in height appeared to be 54 cm.

А если обе стороны, то разница те же 27 останется.
А как 54 получилось?
