I wonder how they take photographs of those ski resorts apartments for holiday catalogs. On photographs apartments look modern, stylish, shiny, spacy, cozy and very well equipped. In fact they all are old, small, badly designed, painted with strange colors, smoked, shabby and there is never enough wine glasses. Rooms pray for renovation.
Also, what photographs can't tell anyways is excellent acoustics. Being in bed and trying to have a nap one could hear not only snorring kid in the next room, but also breathing neighbors on the second floor, swedes having sex on the third floor and falling snowflakes outside.
